Outpatient Counseling Services are available at the Northeast Family Service Center, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Chester County (West Chester office), and Delaware County (Springfield office). Licensed therapists offer counseling to individuals, married couples, and families to help them deal with stress and anxiety, substance abuse, relationship conflicts, and other behavioral or mental health issues. Fees for counseling are modest and most insurance plans are accepted. Counselors are respectful of the religious convictions of those clients who wish to incorporate their beliefs and values into their search for wholeness and emotional well-being.
The Sexual Abuse Family Education and Treatment Program (SAFE) offers evaluation and treatment for children who have been victims of sexual abuse, and help for their families. Outpatient counseling is provided at the Holy Family Center, and funded through contract with DHS and the Office of Mental Health. This program functions under the license of St. Gabriel's System which provides professional supervision.
The Homebound Outreach Program for the Elderly (HOPE) is funded through the Office of Mental Health and is housed in the Northeast Family Service Center. HOPE provides in-home counseling, primarily to elderly who are unable to leave their home to access services. While focused on the Northeast section of Philadelphia, CSS is prepared to deliver this service throughout Philadelphia County. This program functions under the license of St. Gabriel's System which provides professional supervision.
