 In times of tight budgets such as these, government funds go to proven models and quality providers. No wonder that 10 Out of School Time programs run by Catholic Social Services were awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant through a competitive process conducted by the PA Dept. of Education. The grant provides $500,000 annually for three years, to promote improved academic achievement for over 400 students in challenged neighborhoods via afterschool programs located at Catholic parochial schools and Catholic Social Services sites. |
