Senior Community Centers

Four senior community centers in Philadelphia together serve over 300 senior adults daily who are living in the community. Located in the Norris Square, Port Richmond, West Philadelphia, and South Philadelphia neighborhoods, these centers offer local seniors the opportunity to enjoy hot meals, social and recreational events, art and music activities, spirituality programs, and day trips. Seniors also receive classes about health and nutrition, consumer issues, and computer usage, all free of charge. The Senior Community Centers are funded by the Philadelphia Corporation on Aging and Catholic Social Services.

Archdiocesan Senior Citizens Clubs

Catholic Social Services provides logistical support and resources to over 100 self-directed Senior Citizens Clubs associated with parishes throughout the archdiocese, and serving a membership of over 13,000 senior adults.
